Treatment Overview
As we age, each of us become more susceptible to developing lines and wrinkles on our face due to the loss of collagen and elastin. The amount and location depends on bone structure, genetics, skin type, environment, lifestyle, and repeated facial movements such as smiling or frowning. Anti-wrinkle injections work by blocking the chemical signals which tell our muscles to contract, thus smoothing out the dynamic lines created by those contractions. Anti-wrinkle injections provide subtle, natural-looking improvements and although overtime the muscle can weaken, repeat treatments are required to maintain the effect.

We will assess you on an individual basis and will use either Botox or Azzalure. This will be discussed in the consultation.
- Reduce the appearance of crow’s feet at the corners of the eyes
- Smooth out frown lines between the eyebrows
- Smooth out horizontal forehead lines
- Treat bunny lines on the nose
- Lift your brow
- Address vertical lip lines around the mouth
- Reduce a gummy smile
- Reduce a downturned smile
- Reduce jaw pain from teeth grinding
- Slim a heavy jaw
- Avoid touching the treated area for at least 24 hours.
- Avoid exercise for at least 24 hours.
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours: Alcohol consumption can increase the risk of bruising, and bleeding.
- Stay upright for 4-hours. This will help prevent the Botox from spreading to other areas.
- Wait for results: It can take up to two weeks to see the full effects.
- A free follow – up appointment will be provided around 2 weeks after treatment with your provider, to ensure that you are happy with the results and to address any concerns or side effects.
The onset of results varies from person to person, depending on factors such as strength of the muscle being treated, amount injected and the individual’s metabolism. Some clients notice a difference within 2 – 3 days, but most of the time it takes 10 – 14 days for optimal results to develop.
