What injectable?

If you are trying to solve your problem but not sure exactly what it is or what you need? Just want to look like you did 5, 10, or 15 years ago but still look natural?

Here is a useful guide.

Anti-wrinkle Injections

Anti-wrinkle injections work by temporarily blocking the action of nerve signals in the muscles where it is injected, preventing them from contracting.

Repeat contractions can lead to the folding of the overlying skin.If these are caught early, they will only be caused in motion (dynamic lines) and anti-wrinkle injections can smoothen them out completely. Anti- wrinkle injections last 3-6 months before being broken down by the body.

Fillers

From the age of 25, we start to lose collagen, bone and subcutaneous fat. This leads to a loss of structure, the formation of lines and wrinkles, and an increase in skin sagging.

Dermal fillers can be used in different areas of the face to address various concerns. They are commonly used to fill in deep lines, wrinkles, and folds, such as nasolabial folds (smile lines) and marionette lines.

They can also be used to enhance lip volume, restore cheek fullness, improve under-eye hollows and contour the jawline and chin.

The dermal fillers we use are made from cross-

linked hyaluronic acid and can easily be reversed (optionally or in an emergency) by breaking the crosslinks.

The body naturally breaks the cross-links down over time, hence fillers last on average 9- 12 months. However, repeat fillers in the same area can last a lot longer.

Profhilo

Profhilo is classified as a bio-remodelling treatment because it stimulates the natural production of collagen and elastin in the skin. It contains both high and low molecular weight

hyaluronic acid which allows it to spread effectively across the skin’s dermal layers and deliver hydration and bio-stimulation.

Two courses are required one month apart for optimal results, followed by single courses 3-6 months apart.

Skin Boosters

Skin boosters are designed to improve skin hydration, texture and overall quality. They work by delivering a combination of nutrients, vitamins, amino acids and hyaluronic acid (HA) directly into the skin.

The skin booster is injected into the superficial layers of the skin. It binds to water molecules, attracting and retaining moisture within the skin, resulting in deep hydration. This in turn helps improve the skin’s texture, elasticity and firmness.

The most popular skin boosters used are Sunekos and Jalupro. Four courses are recommended 1-2 weeks apart and repeated every 6 months.

Polynucleotides

Polynucleotides, such as Lumi Eyes, stimulate the skin’s natural repair and regeneration process by working on the DNA and RNA of cells.

They have anti- inflammatory properties and enhance skin hydration. 2-4 sessions are needed for the best results and last 6-9 months.
